The Nigerian recruitment market was fragmented between informal WhatsApp job groups and expensive international platforms not optimized for the Nigerian context. Myjobsplace needed a platform that could serve both job seekers and corporate employers simultaneously, handling thousands of active listings at scale.
Solution Delivered
We engineered a fully-featured two-sided marketplace built on PHP with a MySQL database optimized for high-read workloads. The platform features separate portals for job seekers and employers, an advanced search and filter engine, CV builder, application tracking, and email notification pipelines. A Redis caching layer ensures the search experience remains fast even at scale.
